Artist Advocacy Patron Program

While in most professional arenas, skill and hard work generally translate to financial success, that equation does not apply now, nor has it ever applied to the arts, and many of our most brilliant musicians, painters, sculptors, dancers, singers, and other artists struggle to meet basic needs.

Understanding that mastery is a full-time job, which cannot be achieved on a part-time basis, the Artist Advocacy Foundation has created a program to honor the crucial contribution made by artists, and to provide them with regular support through donations from artist advocates like you.

The goal of the Artist Advocacy Patrons Program is to help bring artistic masterpieces into the world by offering gifted artists the ongoing financial support they need to work full time at their art. The program is driven by patrons –people who are inspired by an individual artist’s work (i.e. fans, friends, followers, etc.) or who are driven, as we are, to support the essential work of our artists.

Become an Artist Advocate by providing monthly support or through a one-time gift to fund payments to artists over time.

Our grant committee selects artists for this support based on the excellence of their work. To find out more about the Artist Advocacy Patrons Program, or recommend an artist for consideration, contact AAF Executive Director, Ron Colone, at 805-448-4208 or ron.colone@gmail.com.
