Danvy Pham

Jacob Cole

Rayse Biggs

Rayse was a fixture on the Detroit jazz scene for 50 years before being stricken by an illness that kept him from working. AAF has helped with funds for medical care and home maintenance.

in Carpinteria, Calif. is a beautiful small theater and community organization that offers interesting programming. We've supported them with multiple venue grants.

Leigh Rubin

Leigh Rubin is the creator of Rubes, a comic strip syndicated worldwide in over 400 publications. We supplied Leigh with an artist-medical grant to help with the care of his wife.

Skeeto Valdez

One of Detroit's most sought-after musicans,  Skeeto has toured the world performing in a variety of styles. Skeeto received an AAF Artist-Medical grant.

We have supplied the Trinity House Theatre in Livonia, Mich. to help purchase a piano and upgrade the audience experience.

Katie Greer

In 2025, Katie was accepted into an artist's residency program at the renowned Chateau Orquevaux in France. A single mother of two, Katie's tuition into the program was covered, however, travel and meals weren't, so AAF provided an Education Grant so that she could take advantage of this life-changing opportunity. www.katherinegreerfineart.com

Carole Goldman

Carole Goldman has lived her entire life as an artist - an actress, a painter. The Artist Advocacy Foundation stepped in to help pay to frame her paintings for an exhibition, which led to sales of her works.

Altadena Musicians

McKinnon Scholarship

AAF created the Jeff McKinnon Theatre Group Scholarship, for graduating seniors pursuing arts training and social justice.

Jon Dee Graham

Jon Dee Graham passed away in March 2026. He was a great musical artist who battled health issues in his final years. In that time, AAF gave him several grants to help with expenses.
